The fantasy anime Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Japanese: Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria), adapted from Fujino Ōmori’s manga illustrated by Toshi Aoi, is celebrating its one-year TV debut with a stunning special visual published to commemorate the milestone.

At the culmination of Season 1 in September 2024, a second season was teased—and now it has an official return timeframe. Season 2 is confirmed for 2026, continuing the story exactly two years after the anime’s premiere.

Story
The narrative follows Will Serfort, a student at Rigarden Magical Academy who lacks magical ability. Despite being scorned for his null aptitude, Will compensates with exceptional swordsmanship. His goal? To rise through the academy, reunite with his prodigy childhood friend Elfaria—now a prominent Magia Vander—and prove that strength of will and steel can stand toe-to-toe with magic.
