Rudo’s Childhood Friend Joins the Cast

The upcoming Gachiakuta TV anime has officially announced Miku Itō as the voice actress for Chiwa, a pivotal character connected to protagonist Rudo. The news was shared via the series’s official X account and Crunchyroll. Season 1 begins streaming on July 6, 2025, on Crunchyroll.

Miku Itō Joins as Chiwa

Chiwa, introduced in Episode 1 titled “The Sphere”, is the girl from the slums whom Rudo secretly cares for. Miku Itō expressed excitement:

“…Rudo’s first love. Their interactions are heartwarming—but there’s more to it. Chiwa leaves a deep impression on Rudo’s heart…”

Itō’s seasoned voice work—known for roles like Miku Nakano (Quintessential Quintuplets)—brings emotional depth to Chiwa’s character.

Episode 1 sets the stage with Rudo scavenging in the slums and saving a stuffed toy for Chiwa before discovering unsettling truths about the Pit. Preview visuals, released alongside the casting, deepen the emotional resonance of their connection.
