In a first for Nube, the opening theme is performed by the punk-rock collective -真天地開 -真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ (Shin Tenchi Kaibyaku Shūdan: Zigzag). Titled “P0WER –悪霊退散–” (“P0WER –Evil Spirit Be Gone–”), the track fuses distorted guitars and driving drums to echo Nūbē’s unbreakable resolve. In the PV’s opening bars, the song’s feral chant of “退散!” (“Begone!”) punctuates each blow Nūbē lands, fully immersing viewers in the exorcist’s righteous fury.

Closing out each episode is “ひまわり” (“Sunflower”) by Chili Beans, an up-and-coming indie rock duo known for their warm melodies. The ending’s gentle guitar arpeggios and wistful vocals offer a touching counterpoint to the anime’s darker moments—much like the sunflower that follows the sun, Nūbē’s students find hope even after facing the darkest spirits.
