Study Group

Study Group

Study Group is one of those manhwas that somehow makes throwing hands look like a viable study method—and honestly, I was here for it. Gamin Yoon’s dream is simple: get into a good university. But instead of cramming with flashcards, he’s dodging fists in a school full of wannabe gangsters and future criminals. That contrast between his quiet, academic goals and the brutal world he’s trapped in is what makes this story both hilarious and kind of heartbreaking.

What stood out to me most is how Study Group balances action with sincerity. Gamin isn’t your typical overpowered lead; he trains hard, takes hits, and still chooses the high road—most of the time. It’s not the deepest manhwa in terms of world-building or philosophical themes, but it thrives on grit and motivation. Plus, the action scenes are clean and dynamic, and the side characters bring their own charm to this brutal academic hellscape.
