Hectopascal
Hectopascal is raw and punchy and wears its rage like a badge of honour. It’s not trying to be elegant—it’s trying to land a hit straight to your gut. Park Hanjun’s story is one of grit, bottled-up fury, and broken trust. The manhwa kicks off with a heavy emotional weight (that alleyway scene? brutal) and then cranks it up with the mysterious suit and briefcase offer that reawakens Hanjun’s fighting spirit. The setup is familiar a revenge tale with a mysterious sponsor—but the execution carries a certain intensity that kept me flipping.
That said, the manhwa occasionally stumbles in pacing. There’s so much testosterone-fuelled buildup that the quieter moments of character depth can feel rushed or glossed over. Still, the art slaps (especially in the action panels), and the use of shadows and expressions really sells Hanjun’s inner turmoil. It’s not the most original story, but it delivers a satisfying mix of brawler energy, revenge angst, and just enough mystery to keep you wanting more.
